Applications for the Inside Wireman and Electronic Systems Technician Apprenticeship Programs for the 2025 selection process will be accepted on the following days:

Monday, January 6, 2025 through Friday, January 10, 2025 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.

Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 9:00am to 12:00pm.

Monday, January 13, 2025 through Friday January 17, 2025 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.

(Located behind the Local 649 IBEW Hall) for each time period.

This five-year program is jointly sponsored by the National Electrical Contractor Association (NECA) and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Apprenticeship provides a minimum of 144 hours of evening classroom instruction per year. Required extensive mathematical usage plus 8,000 hours of on-the-job training.

Applications must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED, be at least 18 years of age and show successful completion of one year (two semesters) of Algebra with a grade “C” or higher on a transcript.

It is MANDATORY that copy of your HIGH SCHOOL TRANSCRIPT OR EQUIVALENT GED accompanies your applications (NO EXCEPTIONS). If applicable, college transcripts or additional transcripts may also be submitted. A $25 application fee is required upon applying.

Applications are invited from women and members of minority groups. Pre-employment drug screening, physical and background check after acceptance will be required.
